Why this matters now: Meta’s Horizon Managed Services (HMS) update
This launch follows Meta’s announcement that it is stopping sales of Meta Horizon Managed Services (HMS) and commercial Meta Quest SKUs, effective February 20, 2026. Meta stated that HMS will be available at no cost starting February 20, 2026, and will operate in maintenance mode through January 4, 2030. Meta also noted that HMS remains the required enrollment pathway for Quest devices into third-party device management.
